7-9/10/2019 - The USEP participates in the 2nd Iberoamerican Conference of Smart Cities in Soria
The conference, involving 59 institutions from 17 different countries, has been organized by the CYTED Smart Cities Network. It has dealt with different topics related to the sustainable development of the cities of the future. The conference has been celebrated in Soria (Spain) between 7 and 9 October 2019. In some way, a view closer to the citizen than to the technology, which provides a different perspective and interesting points of view to look for solutions to the problems of the society.
In particular, the USEP group has presented two research works: Battery Energy Storage System Dimensioning for Grid Applications According to Power Quality and Battery Ageing, by Jorge Nájera; and Energy Storage Systems for power supply of ultrahigh speed Hyperloop trains by Marcos Lafoz.
