20/09/2016 - The research group participate in the 18th Conference on Power Electronics and Applications EPE 2016
This conference celebrated in Karlsruhe (Germany) between 5 and 9 September brings together yearly experts in power electronics and electric drives areas intended for energy applications, transport and industrial processes. This research group participated with two papers. The first paper presented, "Design Methodology of a High Speed Switched Reluctance Generator Drive for Aircrafts" is related with the methodology for the optimized design of electric drives applied to More Electric Aircrafts (MEA) where the purpose is to replace the hydraulic actuators by electric actuators. The second paper presented “Minimum Losses Point Tracking and Minimum Current Point Tracking in Interior PMSMs” is related with optimization strategies to drive electric motors. In this case, a comparative study is done about different control strategies in interior permanent magnets synchronous motors for electric vehicle applications.
